ASOS to supply and install RTPs for ADNOC
Ali & Sons Oilfield Supplies & Services is pleased to announce the signing of a strategic new pilot agreement for the supply and installation of Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe (RTP) for the BU-279 Oil flow line in Bu Hasa ADNOC Onshore field with project supervision of ADNOC Research & Development team.
With the support of our principal, SHAWCOR Flexpipe Systems (a Canadian RTP Manufacturer), ASOS has won the opportunity supporting ADNOC’s strategy of new reliable technology replacing old steel flowlines.
The RTP pipes with its quick, cost-effective installation and the ability to withstand high pressure, temperature, and corrosion, allow end users to count on production continuity to start strong and stay reliable for the duration of site operation. The RTP pipe has a service life of 20 years, with no need for expensive maintenance and long-term chemical inhibitor programs.
The awarded pilot agreement shall be completed within 6 months, and trial completion within 18 months from the agreement effective date.
