ASMEF to Build 39 Process Modules for ADNOC's Dalma Gas Development Project
As the first and only Emirati owned company to construct Process Modules for Gas Processing in UAE in IGD II Project for ADNOG LNG and building on Ali & Sons Marine Engineering Factory success story in this project, we are proud to announce the award of a new contract by Tecnicas Reunidas (TR) a Spanish based leading international EPC contractor for ASMEF to build another 39 modules with total weight of 11,166 tons for the ADNOC Dalma Gas Development Project.
This new award is a true testimony of ASMEF capability of delivering quality products with highest safety standards not only to the UAE but also to the international market. ASMEF has been competing with a number of local and international yards to win this project and the success story built over the years with TR and ADNOC had supported this significant award.
The main project activities have already started with an expected construction start date by Dec 2022 for a duration of 12~14 months with progressive loadout of the modules starting Q3 -2023 based on site readiness.
The Dalma field is part of the Ghasha Concession which is the world’s largest offshore sour gas development and an important enabler of gas self-sufficiency for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) hence, ASMEF is proud to contribute to such strategic project.
