Responsibilities |
Responsible for evaluating, structuring, closing and monitoring investments.
Develop and research new investment ideas for clients and perform continuing due diligence on existing investments.
Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; provide trends and forecasts; explain processes and techniques; recommend actions.
Analyse financial information relating to specific companies, e.g. company results, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements to determine how an organisation is positioned to deliver for investors.
Conduct due diligence on investment targets by researching, reading financial statements and market data.
Keep up-to-date with market developments, new investment products and all other areas that can affect the markets, e.g. movements in the economies of relevant countries.
Identify financial status by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Improve financial status by analysing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends and recommending actions to Investment Committee or to management.
Conduct preliminary assessment and evaluation of the investment opportunities.
Conduct macro-economic and sector research as part of the investment process.
Prepare investment proposals for the Investment Committee.
Negotiate transactions and agreements.
Create and evaluate financial models on investment targets.
Ensure that standards of quality and quantity of work are met and support the achievement of company strategic goals and objectives.
Develop risk management dashboard to analyse company financial position and headroom levels.
Perform other duties as required by the Investments Director and Group CFO. |
