|| An Air Drilling professional ( Supervisor / Operator ) is primarily responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of diesel-driven compressors and booster compressors on oilfield and geothermal drilling sites, and provide advice to the client on the most optimal air/fluid injection parameters. This job comes with a lot of independence and requires a strong self-starter who can take charge of a project and communicates well with peers, colleagues and clients. Due to the nature of the work this is a mostly non-rotational job with potentially up to 240 days a year in the field.
Excellent mechanical skills, especially with the newer electronic engines (e.g. Cummins QSX, CAT C-15/16/18);
Preferably experience working with and troubleshooting Generon membrane nitrogen units and high pressure rotating pressure control devices (rotating heads);
Experience working as a Driller or AD on oilfield/geothermal drilling rigs;
Have a good feel for downhole operations and conditions;
Must be fluent in English;
Self-starters and self-motivators;
Strong communication skills;
Ability to adapt in foreign countries and sensitive tp other cultures;
Excellent computer skills (Windows XP/Vista/7, Excel, Word, Google Apps, Gmail);
Willing to work irregular (non-rotational) shifts that may occasionally stretch up to six weeks.
